Director, Skilled Nursing
Location: Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; In-person/In-office
This is an on-site leadership position based in the Bloomsburg office. The Director will serve Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland counties and should expect travel throughout the territory to market the office, visit clients, and build community relationships.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range is $90,000–$100,000. The final offer will be determined by experience, qualifications, internal equity, and the scope and operational needs of the office.

Position Overview
The Director provides strategic and operational leadership for BAYADA’s Skilled Nursing office in Bloomsburg, PA. This role leads the clinical and administrative teams, drives accountability to the BAYADA Way and key performance expectations, and creates the conditions for sustainable growth in client census, employee census, quality, and community impact.
This is a role for a hands-on, resilient, and high-energy leader who can bring focus, creativity, determination, and flexibility to a dynamic team environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the office’s clinical and administrative team, including Client Service Managers, Clinical Managers and the office team.
- Set clear expectations, promote accountability, and reinforce the BAYADA Way in daily decisions and interactions.
- Oversee office operations, workflows, budgets, goals, and key performance indicators.
- Monitor operational and clinical performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure timely follow-through.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
- Maintain survey readiness and oversee preparation for regulatory and quality reviews.
- Conduct regular one-on-one conversations, team meetings, and biweekly operational reviews.
- Partner with on-call managers and remain accessible for leadership support without serving as the on-call manager.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow client census and employee census throughout the territory.
- Build strong relationships with clients, employees, referral partners, and community organizations.
- Represent BAYADA in the community through marketing, networking, and relationship-building activities.
- Identify creative solutions to staffing, service delivery, operational, and growth challenges.
- Collaborate with divisional and regional leaders to align office priorities with broader BAYADA goals.
- Foster a culture of recognition, trust, resilience, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications
- Registered Nurse license OR a four-year college degree.
- Director-level experience leading people, processes, and business operations.
- Demonstrated accountability for key performance indicators, goals, budgets, and measurable outcomes.
- Track record of professional and business growth.
- Ability to work on-site in the Bloomsburg office five days per week.
- Ability to travel throughout Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland counties.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading a healthcare, home care, clinical services, or similarly complex operational team.
- Experience with survey preparedness, quality assurance, performance improvement, and regulatory expectations.
- Experience growing client and employee census through community engagement, marketing, and referral development.
- Experience leading through team change, turnover, or periods of operational transition.
