Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance governance frameworks, policies, procedures, standards, controls, and monitoring processes.

  • Prepare executive- and board-level reporting, dashboards, presentations, and other communications that effectively convey compliance risks, regulatory developments, and program status.
  • Lead and coordinate regulatory examinations, supervisory engagements, and ongoing regulatory requests, including stakeholder preparation, response management, issue tracking, and remediation activities.
  • Support special projects and strategic compliance initiatives as business and regulatory priorities evolve.

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • 10 plus years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, or a related function within financial services, consulting, or a regulatory agency.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with federal and/or state financial services regulators, including examination management and regulatory engagement.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulatory frameworks and compliance management systems.
  • Experience assessing regulatory requirements and translating them into practical business guidance and risk-based compliance solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise executive summaries, board materials, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently while building strong partnerships across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and business teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience supporting an OCC-regulated bank, trust bank, fintech, digital asset, payments, or financial technology business.
  • Prior regulatory experience with the OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, or similar agency.
  • Experience with digital assets, custody, payments, stablecoins, blockchain-related activities, or emerging financial technologies.
  • Master's degree, MBA, JD, or other advanced degree.
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and board-level reporting
