Summary:

Denver Post Media is seeking an experienced digital marketing expert to fill the role of Digital Sales Executive.

The ideal candidate for the DSE position will be a unique blend of digital marketing consultant, sales specialist, team motivator, and analytical thinker. Not only will they bring a breadth of experience in multiple areas of digital marketing, but they will also bring intangibles including active listening, empathy, positivity, collaboration and organization.

While this is a remote role in Colorado, you must be able to attend in person meetings at the Denver office and with clients.

What you will do:

• Manage and maximize an existing book of business

• Develop and execute prospecting strategies to uncover new business opportunities

• Actively understand the goals of prospective advertising partners through engaging needs assessments

• Creating compelling, customized digital marketing solutions to present to prospective advertising partners

• Present customized solutions and close business opportunities

• Partner with cross functional teams to ensure proper campaign setup, execution, and retention

• Contribute to a collaborative and team focused environment

• Join periodic in-person team building and community engagement opportunities

• Leverage the agility of a small-business feel with the backing and resources of a national organization

• Engage in an atmosphere of continuous learning and growth

• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same

What you will bring:

• Experience selling a suite of digital solutions

• Masterful understanding of Paid Search, Social, Programmatic Display, Email, Sponsored Content, Mobile and Video

• Ability to diagnose business needs to develop and communicate customized solutions

• Proficiency in the Google Suite, Salesforce and Excel

• Familiarity with data and analytics to make strategic updates and recommendations

• 4 year degree or equivalent amount of work experience

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly wage is $28.85 + cell phone stipend, mileage reimbursement, and commission (on-target earning potential is $120,000). Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
