The role focuses in driving strategic digital enablement initiatives to strengthen the EB international bsuiness. The role will involve engaging internal Operations and Technology, Marketing, Product and business unit stakeholders across our core markets to deliver a digital enabled ecosystems to deepen customer engagement and capture ASEAN – China business flows.

How you succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to take a customer-centric approach, understanding the unique needs and challenges of each client. You'll work closely with our product specialists to develop and implement customized financial solutions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery. Your ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and think strategically will be key to driving success.

What you do

• Digital enablement in strategic partnership development:

Build, engage strategic channels (Government Agencies, Business Services and Corporate secretaries) on a dynamic basis and bring regional conversations to the next level

• Growing Greater China- ASEAN flow

Building an ADD (AI, Data, Digital) value proposition for these underserved Chinese and international corporates as they expand to ASEAN

• Drive “One Connect” branding:

Drive common “One Connect” branding to meet Commercial Banking regional objectives together with in-country colleagues

• Market Intelligence & Business Development

Leveraging on AI and market intelligence, identify key trends and research and action on growth industries in these core markets to grow and serve our international customer base jointly with the Account Management and relationship management team

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience
• Understand modern architectures such as microservices, event streaming, and multi-region systems, supported by solid knowledge of industry-recognised frameworks and tooling
• Understand payment systems, processing, and industry trends (e.g. digital payments, payment gateways).
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Keen interest in learning new technology.
• Experience in the financial and corporate banking space is an advantage
• Ability to think strategically and ‘connect the dots’ to identify regional opportunities from a digital perspective
• Strong risk awareness including regulatory considerations in different markets
• Cultural sensitivity and can work well with colleagues in different countries
• Genuine interest in building people to meet strategic needs
