Job Description

Education

Required – Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, writing, digital media or related field.

Work Experience

Required – 3 years of experience in web management and content creation.

Preferred – 3 years of experience in content creation for web, content management systems (CMS), social media and Google Analytics.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• • Expertise with video editing programs, including CapCut Pro, Adobe, Canva, and native Instagram, TikTok and Facebook video editing tools
  • Knowledge of major social channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram,  LinkedIn, YouTube and their analytics capabilities.
  • Experience creating video content for social media channels such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • Strong writing and editing skills and knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout health system.
  • High proficiency with personal computers and corresponding software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator), content management systems, social media channels, video editing and Google Analytics.
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use logic to formulate solutions to problems.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) design and search engine optimization to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong people skills; the ability to collaborate with others, take feedback and propose solutions.

Job Duties

• • Attends events and video shoots in person to film short-form social media videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media channels
  • Edits short-form videos in accordance with Ochsner Health branding and style
  • Drives online content strategy in areas of focus to increase digital engagement and online performance across multiple channels and provide measurable marketing return on investment.
  • Collaborates with brand, design and creative media teams on creative ideas and design options, functionality, implementation and content within brand guidelines.
  • Collaborates with physicians, clinical experts and departmental stakeholders to develop content strategies and create new content.
  • Participates in the strategic planning process for clients
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.   (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
