ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of over 2000 high-performing engineers, risk, and operations professionals.

The Mission

Payments & Settlement Services (PSS) is at the heart of ING's payment, liquidity and settlement infrastructure. We provide safe, secure, compliant and reliable services that support ING's Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking and Financial Markets businesses globally.

As part of ING's Digital Asset Strategy, PSS is building the next generation of payment and settlement capabilities to support tokenised forms of money, including stablecoins, tokenised deposits, and future digital settlement solutions. We are establishing the foundational infrastructure required to connect traditional banking services with emerging digital asset ecosystems while maintaining ING's standards for resilience, control, security and regulatory compliance.

Your day to day

• Gather, analyse and translate Digital Asset business requirements into solution requirements, user stories and implementation plans, assessing impacts across ING's end-to-end payments and settlement landscape;
• Design and coordinate integrations between blockchain platforms, digital wallets and ING payment systems (Dovetail, OMAAP and RTPE), ensuring secure, compliant and resilient interoperability with core banking infrastructure;
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, Operations, Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders to define integration patterns, refine solutions and deliver tokenised payment and settlement capabilities, including stablecoins and tokenised deposits;
• Drive business analysis, process mapping, impact assessments, backlog prioritisation and Agile delivery activities, supporting testing, implementation and operational readiness;
• Act as a subject matter expert for Digital Asset onboarding and payment system integration within PSS, while monitoring emerging blockchain trends and their impact on ING's future payment and settlement ecosystem.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Combine deep knowledge of ING's payment landscape with strong business analysis and integration skills;
• Ability to understand how Dovetail, OMAAP and RTPE operate today, identify impacts of new Digital Asset initiatives, and translate business requirements into practical integration solutions;
• You are naturally curious about emerging technologies, comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and capable of bridging business needs with implementation teams.

Mandatory experience and knowledge

• Hands-on experience working with and delivering changes on ING platforms, Dovetail, OMAAP, RTPE.(only for internals);
• Proven experience in Business Analysis, Customer Journey Expert, Product Owner or project management;
• Experience assessing integration impacts, dependencies and implementation requirements across interconnected payment systems;
• End-to-end payment processing and transaction lifecycle management;
• SWIFT payments and real-time payment infrastructures, payment routing and orchestration;
• Cross-border payments and correspondent banking concepts;
• Demonstratable understanding of blockchain, tokenisation and emerging digital asset impact on payment infrastructures;
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to bridge technical details with commercial outcomes.

Foreign languages: English (advanced);

Education: nice to have bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an IT related field.
