Title:

• Responsible for managing medical waste accumulation, storage, treatment, and disposal.
• Responsible for the general cleanliness and housekeeping of the medical waste storage areas at the medical and dental care facilities. 
• Responsible for maintaining medical waste inventory from collection to incineration for accurate reporting to the Government for accountability. 
• Responsible for and support Hazardous Waste Storage Area (HWSA) operations including but not limited to waste collection, processing for storage, and disposal. 
• Responsible for and support Oil & Hazardous Substances emergency spill responses.
• Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

Basic Qualifications

• Guidance and leadership skills to work within an established team at the HWSA & HSE.
• Provides excellent customer service to support the Clients and Island Tenants.
• Good knowledge and understanding of HM/HW Management practices and techniques applicable to overseas HM/HW Generators facilities operations. 
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion of multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities without supervision.
• Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
• Must have a valid driver's license with the following license codes (B, B1, B2, C, D) or a valid country of origin’s driver’s license and be able to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, stake truck, box truck, and other assigned vehicle/s.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING

• Training must be provided at the time of initial assignment to tasks where occupational exposure may occur and annually thereafter. The content of the training program is outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1030 - Bloodborne Pathogens.

EDUCATION:

• Must be at least High School, Technical or Vocational School graduate required. An associate or bachelor’s degree based on a 2-year or 4-year course of study from an accredited College or University is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least five (5) years experience working in a Medical Facility such as Hospitals, Clinics, Community Health Centers with emphasis on Medical waste management from generation, storage to final disposal.
