Nasdaq · Vor Ort · Vilnius
Will be updated.

As a DevOps Engineer reporting to Senior Director, you'll play a critical role in keeping Nasdaq's Trading Technology infrastructure running, evolving, and performing at its best — so that every engineer on the team can build with confidence.

You'll thrive in this role if you're methodical, dependable, and motivated by ownership — someone who sees a problem through from investigation to resolution and takes pride in reliable outcomes. You'll join a collaborative team based primarily in Vilnius, working closely with colleagues across Bangalore and Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated build, deployment, and operational processes that improve the speed and reliability of software delivery.
  • Manage and evolve cloud and container-based infrastructure, ensuring environments are stable, secure, and consistently maintained.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, driving repeatability and reducing manual effort across the platform.
  • Support and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines, contributing to faster, safer releases across Trading Technology.
  • Partner with development and operations teams to troubleshoot technical issues, improve observability, and drive automation across the environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or OCI) and container-based environments such as Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python or equivalent).
  • Experience with source code management tools and continuous integration and deployment practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience supporting business-critical or highly available systems across multiple environments.
  • Exposure to CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins) and database administration.

We offer a competitive, well-rounded benefits package crafted to support the financial, physical, and emotional well-being of our employees and their dependents.
