Project Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps practice in a strategic role that is not initially tied to a specific client project. The engineer will support future client needs across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, containers, observability, and troubleshooting, working with different technology stacks and cloud platforms.

What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure using IaC;
- Create and support CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure;
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized applications in Docker- and Kubernetes-based environments;
- Work with development and QA teams to resolve build, deployment, configuration, and runtime issues;
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerts;
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives;
- Automate routine infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting;
- Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, environment setup, and platform improvement initiatives;
- Apply cloud and CI/CD security best practices, including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and secure pipeline configuration;
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides;
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and, when needed, communicate directly with client-side technical stakeholders;
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Platform Engineering, Build/Release Engineering, or a related role;
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
- Experience with IaC, preferably Terraform;
- Experience creating, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo, or similar tools;
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications;
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or managed container platforms;
- Experience with Linux administration;
- Scripting experience with at least one of the following: Bash, Python, or PowerShell;
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, ELK, Splunk, New Relic, or similar tools;
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, load balancing, routing, subnets, firewalls/security groups, and VPNs;
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, least-privilege access, and secure CI/CD practices;
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar tools;
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, cloud services, containers, CI/CD, and applications;
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
Nice to have
- Experience with more than one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, Flux, or GitOps practices;
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack;
- Experience with CloudFormation, AWS CDK, OpenTofu, Bicep, ARM templates, or Pulumi;
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production;
- Experience with observability stacks, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, Loki, Alertmanager, or similar technologies;
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Trivy, SonarQube, Veracode, Snyk, Checkov, tfsec, or CodeQL;
- Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or finance, or with compliance frameworks and standards such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GxP;
- Experience with cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, high availability, disaster recovery, or cost optimization;
- Experience with Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure-centric environments;
- Experience supporting data platform infrastructure such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Flink, Hadoop, NiFi, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar technologies;
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, CKA, CKAD, CKS, or Terraform Associate;
