Company Profile:
In the summer of 2021, Repsol expanded its renewables operations to the US through the acquisition of a large U.S.-based PV solar and battery storage project developer. This transaction was Repsol's first foray into the U.S. renewables market. In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (“RRSNA”) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027.
RRSNA is seeking a Development Intern to join our dynamic team and support the company’s growing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the U.S.

This is a twelve (12) week program starting May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2026, in Downtown Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing market, policy, legislative or technology research.
- Creating materials that support project development, including presentations, talking points, and market analysis.
- Assisting project teams with maintaining relevant databases and tracking reports.
- Performing data entry and analysis that supports project development and/or power marketing.
- Assisting with the preparation of responses to proposals.
- Helping coordinate and attend public outreach events; and
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Passionate about renewable energy
- Strong communication skills
- A motivated, self-starter
- Open to any kind of educational degrees, preferably a rising Junior or Senior
