The Role
Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Development Engineer - WUI Triple 'A Plus (TAP) to support the development, enhancement, integration, and production support of Wealth Management and Private Banking applications based on the Triple 'A Plus Temenos TAP platform.
The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Triple'A Plus customization, business process configuration, interfaces, production support, and application development. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional analysts, testing teams, and application support teams to deliver high-quality solutions and maintain stable production environments.
As a Development Engineer – WUI TAP / TTI / TAP Core, you will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting core banking applications that enable critical treasury and banking operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, architects, and support teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions while ensuring high availability and operational excellence.
Your expertise in (Web User Interface) WUI TAP, TTI (TAP-T24 Integration Layer), and TAP Core will be instrumental in developing and maintaining banking applications, integrations, and workflows that support business-critical processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions within WUI TAP, TTI, and TAP Core platforms.
- Develop and enhance interfaces between TAP applications and Temenos T24 systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Build, modify, and optimize application workflows, business services, and integrations.
- Develop, maintain, and support middleware components facilitating data exchange between banking systems.
- Implement and support API, file-based, and message-based integrations.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Unix Shell Scripting to streamline operational and support activities.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, application defects, and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform impact analysis for system enhancements and change requests.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Support application deployments, release management, and post-release validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge repositories, and support procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and support engineers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around application reliability, performance, and automation.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- Develop, customize, and support Triple'A Plus (Temenos TAP) applications for Wealth Management and Private Banking platforms.
- Configure and implement business processes, workflows, screens, and application components within the TAP ecosystem.
- 7+ years of experince Drive application stability, performance tuning, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Design, develop, and maintain Web User Interface (WUI) solutions and enhancements on the TAP platform.
- Work on TAP-T24 Integration (TTI) architecture, configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with Temenos T24 applications.
- Develop and support REST APIs, Web Services, file-based interfaces, and middleware integrations with internal and external banking systems.
- Create and maintain Oracle SQL/PL-SQL programs, database objects, automation scripts, and data integration solutions.
- Develop automation tools using Python and Shell Scripting to improve operational efficiency and application support processes.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, including incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs, scheduling tools, system performance, and application availability in Unix/Linux environments.
- Collaborate with business users, functional analysts, and stakeholders to deliver enhancements, regulatory changes, and business-driven solutions.
- Implement DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub, and Agile delivery practices to support efficient software development and deployment processes.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline with strong software development fundamentals.
- Experience working in Banking, Investment, Treasury, Wealth Management, or BFSI environments with exposure to core banking processes.
- Knowledge of Temenos products and ecosystem, including enterprise integrations, API management, and microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, release automation tools, ITIL processes, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in global cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
