Job Overview:
THE·TEAM is looking for an ambitious Graphic Designer who makes great layouts, loves clean type, and creates designs that actually hit. You should be curious and excited to work across sports, music, entertainment, and whatever else comes your way.

What You'll Do:

You can take direction from written or spoken briefs and turn them into fresh visuals that look intentional and feel genuinely compelling. You have strong layout and typography skills, and you know how to build a visual system that stays consistent without slipping into boring or corporate- cringe. Bonus points if you enjoy motion and animation and want to push those skills further.

We work at a quick pace, so being comfortable in a fast environment is key. You thrive in a team setting but you’re just as confident working independently when needed.

Interest in still and video content capturing is a plus, with the opportunity to attend major sporting, music, and cultural events.

This is a permanent role in our Brooklyn office. Hybrid in-office 3 days a week, along with additional in-person event coverage as needed.

What You’ll Actually do:

• Work simultaneously on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Execute visually compelling design requests to support the needs of the company.
• Craft static and motion/video assets for Instagram, X, and TikTok, ensuring each is optimized for its platform.
• Logo and graphics creation.
• Light motion graphics and animation.
• Presentation and digital marketing materials (decks).
• Create compelling digital and social content from start to finish.
• Stay connected to cultural trends in graphic design so our work stays fresh and relevant.
• Manage your time in a smart and efficient manner, clearly communicating with your manager and team to stay on the same page at all touch points of the project.
• Limited travel possible, based on needs of the team.

Who You Are: 

• You have 3+ years of experience developing the types of digital creative assets described above in an ad agency or similar environment.
• You have an interest in emerging tools and technologies.
• You can think creatively and drive innovation.
• You have a genuine interest and passion for sports, music, and entertainment.
• You can present your work to the team internally, explain your creative decisions, and take feedback constructively.
• You care about doing great work and can flex your hours when live events or timelines need support, including the occasional night or weekend.
• Have a solid grasp of all major social platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and know how to use their features to create work people want to engage with.
• You are a Pro with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and have proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

Base salary range: $75k - $90k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
