Job Description:

YOU WILL BE: 

The Designer is responsible for creating thoughtful, visually compelling creative across digital, print, social, retail, and marketing channels. This role translates creative/design direction and strategy into well-crafted visual layouts that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and standards. Working closely with Art Directors, Creative Director, Marketing, Merchandising, and Production teams, the Designer supports projects from concept through final execution, demonstrating strong design skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow. The Designer contributes fresh ideas, responds thoughtfully to feedback, and consistently delivers polished, high-quality work while continuing to develop their creative perspective and technical expertise.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop thoughtful and visually engaging designs across digital, print, social media, email, packaging, retail, and advertising.
• Translate seasonal campaigns and brand strategies into cohesive creative assets within established creative direction.
• Take ownership of assigned design projects from initial concept development through final production, incorporating feedback, and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
• Create well-crafted layouts that showcase fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products in an elevated and engaging way.
• Apply typography, layout, color, imagery, and graphic elements effectively to support the brand identity.
• Work closely with Creative Director, Art Directors to execute concepts across various customer touchpoints, using established direction to guide design decisions.
• Participate in on-set shoots to support the Creative Director and Art Director with image selects and layout development.
• Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, production teams, and other creative partners throughout the design process.
• Prepare accurate, production-ready files and manage assigned deliverables through final delivery, escalating questions or challenges when additional direction is needed.
• Follow established brand standards and contribute fresh ideas and thoughtful design solutions within the overall creative vision.
• Participate in creative reviews, respond to feedback, and independently incorporate revisions while maintaining design quality and consistency.
• Manage multiple assigned projects and priorities while communicating progress, raising potential issues, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Continue developing design skills, creative thinking, and technical expertise through hands-on experience, collaboration, and feedback.
• Stay informed on current fashion, design, typography, digital, and cultural trends to bring relevant ideas and inspiration to the work.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within fashion, luxury retail, beauty, lifestyle, or a related industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in typography, layout, composition, editorial design, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as Figma. Experience with After Effects is a plus.
• Working knowledge of print production, digital design, color management, and file preparation for production.
• Experience designing across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, e-commerce, print, packaging, and retail.
• Strong typography, composition, and layout skills with an understanding of elevated, fashion-forward design.
• Understanding of luxury branding, fashion trends, visual culture, and current design practices.
• Ability to interpret creative direction and develop thoughtful, on-brand design solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, Photography, Copywriting, Production, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assigned projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
• Receptive to creative feedback and able to apply direction thoughtfully and effectively.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn, take on increasing responsibility, and continue developing creative and technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to haves):

• Portfolio demonstrating a strong interest in fashion, beauty, luxury, or editorial design, with an understanding of visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, or video editing is a plus.
• Interest or experience in creating digital collages, mixed-media compositions, and visually engaging concepts inspired by art, culture, fashion, and editorial design.

Salary Range $72,000 - $89,000*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
