That means offering focused products, a frictionless mobile-first experience, and clear terms with no gotchas. Respect and fairness is part of our DNA, and that ideal shapes how we work, how we treat each other, and how we invest in our employees and our community. Join us in using data, bold thinking, and a commitment to innovation to help clear the way for millions of Americans to achieve more.
About the Role
Deposit Operations keeps the money moving the way customers expect — processing mobile deposits, resolving check exceptions, handling levies and garnishments, and reconciling deposit and ATM accounts behind the scenes. As a Deposit Operations Associate, you're the one making sure every transaction, adjustment, and account request lands accurately and on time, across both consumer and commercial accounts. You take ownership of your queue and hold your own work to the same standard our customers expect from us.What You'll Do
Process mobile deposits, check exceptions, and ATM settlement and exception postings, catching issues before they reach the customer
Complete online account transactions, account openings, and service requests for personal and commercial customers, plus levies, garnishments, and withholding tax payments and reporting
Reconcile and balance deposit and ATM-related GL accounts, and support audit and regulatory reviews with clean, accurate records
Apply a strong working knowledge of deposit products, procedures, and regulatory requirements to deliver empathetic, professional service on every transaction
Use available tools, including AI-assisted resources, to move through routine tasks faster and free up time for the calls that actually need your judgment
Meet monthly quality and service standards, and step in on additional projects and priorities as they come up
About You
2+ years of experience in operations, retail customer service, banking, or a call center environment, and a high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience; bank operations or back-office experience is a plus
You take ownership of customer concerns and resolve issues at the first point of contact rather than passing them along
You adapt quickly to new situations, think critically under pressure, and don't let the details slip in a fast-paced back-office environment
You're comfortable with technology, including Microsoft Office, CRM, and Miser platforms, and you pick up new systems fast
You look for ways AI and smart tools can help you work faster and catch errors before they become problems, and you speak up when you spot a better way to do something
You're timely and reliable, and you bring clear, effective written and verbal communication to every customer interaction and handoff
