About the location:

Centuries of wonder fill our walls, letting you trace the history of the city from the Baroque era to the neoclassical to modern day. Four Seasons Hotel Prague has a unique location, consists of three historical buildings connected to a new construction, has 157 rooms including 19 suites.

About the Role

As a Demi Chef, you will take a more advanced and independent role within the kitchen, supporting the Chef de Partie in delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will be responsible for maintaining excellence in your assigned section while contributing to consistency, creativity, and efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned section to the highest standards
• Support the Chef de Partie in managing daily kitchen operations
• Take ownership of your station, ensuring organization, readiness, and efficiency
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control during service
• Follow and enforce food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Assist with training and guiding junior team members
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients
• Contribute to minimizing waste and maintaining cost efficiency
• Support kitchen setup, service execution, and post-service cleaning
• Continuously look for ways to improve quality and workflow

What You Bring

• Previous experience as Demi Chef
• Solid understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for a section
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Good command of English
• Culinary training or certification is preferred
