Job Title
Data Product Delivery ManagerWhat does a successful Product Delivery Manager do at Fiserv?
Fiserv is uniquely positioned at the center of global commerce and financial services, powering the movement of money and information across an unmatched network of financial institutions, merchants, and consumers. With billions of transactions processed annually and deep integration across payment rails, banking systems, and merchant ecosystems, Fiserv has built a proprietary data advantage that no competitor can replicate—enabling insights across the full lifecycle of every transaction.
We are seeking a Product Delivery Manager within our Data Products Portfolio who will be responsible for building a scaled practice for product delivery. Accelerating revenue realization by ensuring strategic product initiatives, partner launches, and client commitments are delivered on time, within scope, and without disruption to growth objectives.
What you will do:
- Own End-to-End Product Delivery & Client Commitments
Oversee product deliveries in partnership with Technology to ensure client commitments are met, from initial Data Evaluation Agreement testing through implementation, onboarding and handoff to Business Development. Own SLA performance and delivery commitments through go-live and steady state, serving as the single point of accountability for delivery risks, escalations, and client testing and implementation questions. - Accelerate Evaluation-to-Contract Conversion
Partner with clients and Product Solution Consultants to set test objectives, timelines and success criteria at the start of each Data Evaluation. Coordinate evaluation materials such as sample files, data dictionaries, methodology notes and FAQs, track evaluation-to-contract conversion and time-to-decision, and feed client objections, data gaps and feature requests to Product Management. - Lead Client Implementations from Contract to Go-Live
Translate contract terms into clear delivery requirements, including data specifications, file formats, delivery cadence, permitted use and SLAs. Run each implementation with a defined project plan, task owners, milestones and status updates, define go-live readiness through client acceptance testing and sign-off, and partner with Finance so billing and revenue recognition begin at go-live. - Establish a Strong Foundation for Business Development Handoff
Manage a defined post-launch support period with clear exit criteria and confirm early client adoption before handoff. Deliver a standard handoff package, including client contacts, use cases, configuration, SLA terms, open issues and expansion opportunities, so Business Development begins with a healthy account. - Ensure Reliable Steady-State Operations
Manage delivery incidents such as data delays, restatements and quality issues, including client communication and root-cause analysis. Proactively notify clients of schema, methodology or panel changes, and deliver expansions for existing clients, such as new data sets or panels. - Build a Scalable Product Delivery Practice
Create a standard delivery playbook of repeatable processes, templates and checklists across product types and delivery models, including direct clients and channel partners. Establish delivery KPIs and a portfolio-level risk view for leadership, forecast Technology and Analytics capacity against the sales pipeline, and identify opportunities to automate delivery and monitoring using DCS AI tools.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in product delivery, client implementation, technical program management or client onboarding, preferably with data products, data feeds or analytics solutions.
- Prior relevant experience within issuing, banking and acquiring domains, including familiarity with transaction and payments data.
- Proven experience managing client deliveries end to end, from evaluation and contracting through implementation, go-live and steady-state support.
- Customer-centric mindset with experience translating client requirements and contract terms into delivery plans and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of agile practices, project management methods and SLA management, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent client deliveries and escalations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface directly with clients on a recurring basis.
What would be great to have:
- High proficiency in data analysis (e.g., SQL, Excel) and the ability to use data to validate deliverables, troubleshoot data quality issues and support client testing questions.
- Familiarity with data delivery methods such as cloud data sharing platforms, APIs, Agent to Agent.
- Experience delivering data products to capital markets, marketing and commerce, or financial institution clients and channel partners.
- Working knowledge of data privacy, data usage rights, and client security and vendor due diligence reviews.
- Experience building delivery processes, playbooks and KPIs in a growing or newly formed team.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster or similar project or delivery management certification.
