About Carrier and the role
Join our Data Center team as HVAC Data Center Commissioning leader. In this role, you will join a dynamic team & participate in the growth of data center vertical at Carrier. As demand for data centers continues to grow, reliable and efficient cooling solutions are more critical than ever.
We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC Data Center Commissioning leader to join our central Data Center team to be responsible for driving commissioning excellence across Data Center projects, supporting regional execution teams, and ensuring the consistent application of commissioning processes and best practices throughout the organization.
This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced data center cooling projects across Europe, supporting customers, service teams, and project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of our solutions.
As a Data Center Commissioning leader, you will actively participate in customer Factory Witness Tests, collect and analyze lessons learned from project execution/commissioning, and work closely with Quality, Engineering, Factory, Product Management, and Service teams to continuously improve Carrier's products, processes, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Excellence & Governance
Develop and maintain commissioning standards, procedures, and best practices for Data Center projects.
Ensure consistent commissioning methodologies are applied across all regions and execution teams.
Support project teams during critical commissioning activities and major project milestones.
Promote a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Lessons Learned, Continuous Improvement & Knowledge sharing
Collect, consolidate, and analyze lessons learned from commissioning activities (including FAT/FWT) across projects.
Identify recurring technical issues, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Establish feedback loops between project execution teams and central functions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commissioning efficiency and project outcomes.
Create technical guidance documents, best practice manuals, and commissioning playbooks.
Promote knowledge sharing across the global Data Center organization.
Quality & Product Improvement
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Product Management, and Service organizations to improve product reliability and performance.
Contribute & lead to root cause investigations and corrective action plans for field issues.
Provide commissioning feedback to support future product developments.
Help define technical improvements based on field experience and customer feedback.

Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, Quality management or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC, chiller systems, commissioning, field service, technical support or product commissioning
Proven experience delivering Data Center projects or similar vertical market projects
Advanced root-cause analysis capabilities.
Good understanding of controls, automation, and BMS integration.
Strong understanding of commissioning methodologies, integrated systems testing, and critical environment operations.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Preferred qualifications
Experience in Data Center business
Additional European language skills are considered a plus.
Proven experience supporting large and complex HVAC installations.
Knowledge of Chillers, Hydronic systems, refrigeration cycles, HVAC controls and automation, Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Fourchette de rémunération
La rémunération annuelle pour ce poste est comprise entre €51,500.00-€103,500.00 par an.Les facteurs pouvant influencer la rémunération incluent notamment les compétences, la formation, l’expérience et d’autres qualifications spécifiques du candidat retenu. Les facteurs pouvant influencer la rémunération au sein de cette fourchette comprennent, sans s’y limiter, les compétences, le niveau d’études, l’expérience, l’éventuelle couverture par une convention collective, la rémunération habituellement pratiquée sur le marché pour ce poste, ainsi que toute autre qualification particulière du candidat retenu.[Autres éléments de rémunération
