Stratolaunch is seeking a level I or II Data Analyst to support air-launched hypersonic vehicles. An ideal candidate will have knowledge of various data analytical concepts, programming languages, and tools. This role involves interfacing with a multi-disciplinary engineering team and program management.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with design team to develop analytical approaches for data collection/ aggregation/analysis
- Support development of efficient and effective test and evaluation plans
- Participate in design reviews, readiness reviews, test execution, and post-test data reviews
- Architect and optimize design and test data review and analysis methodologies and tools
- Coordinate internally with multi-disciplinary team and externally with customers
- Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, and integrity in the fulfillment of commitments

Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of data cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization techniques
- Ability to use programming languages to facilitate data analysis
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET or above level
Required Skills
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Project)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with an aerospace engineering development/modification program
- Experience wearing multiple hats in a small team environment
- Experience defining, managing, and verifying requirements for hypersonic vehicles with hot-structure airframes
- Experience translating operational analysis into system requirements
- Active security clearance
Preferred Skills
- Experience programming (Python, MatLab, Linux)
- Experience with CAD (NX Preferred)
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Jira, Git, etc.
- Experience with requirement management systems such as Jama, Cameo, DOORS, etc.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Level I ($83,000-$120,500): Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from accredited institution, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level II ($101,079-$146,500): Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from accredited institution and 2-5 years of engineering experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Special remarks regarding work environment, if applicable
- Position based in Mojave, CA. Consideration for hybrid (partial remote/on-site work) work location arrangement for well-qualified candidates and remote (outside of CA) work location arrangement for exceptional candidates.
- Travel, as needed, to support the department. Travel estimated to be <5%
Base salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis. We consider several factors to ensure a competitive offer, including your location, educational background, and a comprehensive assessment of the skills and experience demonstrated during your interviews.
