Are you an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst looking to grow your skillset and work on a project that has real world impact? Our team is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst with a background in system monitoring and protecting IT infrastructure from cyber threats who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a member of a talented Agile engineering team supporting the development of critical mission applications for the space community as a member of Parsons’ Space Operations directorate. This role involves conducting system vulnerability assessments, using enterprise scan tools to discover and report findings to program owners. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to grow and develop skills that align with cybersecurity engineer skillsets.

This position is located in Colorado Springs and requires working in the office at least 3 days per week.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related technical field and minimum 2 years of experience. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree
• Aptitude in maintaining Information Assurance policies and ensuring program security policy compliance
• Ability to maintain the integrity and security of systems running one or more operating systems (Windows / Linux)
• Practical experience with implementation, and execution of patch management policies and procedures, covering a multitude of operating systems and hardware devices
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, risk management framework, networking protocols, cryptography and secure communications methods
• Great interpersonal and communications skills, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with team members
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
• Must be a US Citizen due to federal government contract requirements

Desired Skills

• Experience in both assessing and implementing STIGs / SRGs as well as vendor hardening guidance
• Familiarity with enterprise security tools
• Technical understanding of network security, cryptography, and cloud security.
• Cybersecurity certification (Security+, CEH, etc.) is a plus
• Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
