KLA is seeking a Customer Support Engineer (CSE) to support our advanced Surfscan inspection systems at leading semiconductor manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be a trusted technical expert, helping customers maximize equipment performance, improve productivity, and minimize downtime. If you enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, solving complex technical challenges, and working directly with customers, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain highly sophisticated semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Perform board-level and system-level troubleshooting on advanced capital equipment.
• Partner with customers to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to installation and service teams.
• Document service activities and collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Prepare service reports and assist with customer quotations for labor, travel, and replacement parts.
• Help drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the service organization.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with customers, peers, and management.

What We're Looking For:
Successful candidates typically have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Military Technical Training, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or semiconductor equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic customer environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work in semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environments.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
