Summary

At AV our Cyber experts operate at the mission's edge. Using advanced cyber techniques, our team of technologists and analysts employ capabilities spanning traditional computing environments to Internet of Things (IoT), including offensive and defensive cyber operations and analysis, signals intelligence (SIGINT) discovery, and data science.

We are seeking a Customer Outreach Specialist/System Engineer. As a Customer Outreach Specialist within our Intel Division, you will serve as the primary bridge between operational end users, mission stakeholders, and our software engineering teams. You will drive tool adoption, advocate for mission needs, lead interactive user training, perform front-line technical troubleshooting, and support functional testing to ensure fielded capabilities directly accelerate customer operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• User Outreach & Training: Lead product demonstrations, facilitate formal user training, and coordinate Champion working groups to drive tool adoption and gather critical feedback.
• Technical Problem-Solving & Support: Triage, investigate, and resolve user-reported technical issues, managing support tickets to closure while coordinating closely with developers and leadership.
• Requirements Advocacy & Engineering Collaboration: Act as the voice of the customer, translating operational mission needs into clear technical requirements and participating in feature testing/validation.
• Documentation: Author and maintain comprehensive user guides, release notes, standard operating procedures, and baseline system workflow diagrams to support onboarding and operational readiness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in facilitating meetings and status reviews with government leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 -4 years of experience supporting the IC in an analyst, systems engineer, technical support, or mission outreach capacity.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• TS/SCI with polygraph

The salary range for this role is:

ITAR Requirement:

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
