Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet organizational goals. The position demands active leadership in maintaining high standards for code quality, system scalability, and overall performance, while aligning solutions with evolving business needs. Collaboration and strategic decision-making are integral throughout the day to drive successful project outcomes and foster innovation within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow, ITOM, CMDB, ITSM

- Strong expertise in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience in managing and leading software development teams to deliver complex custom solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across multiple integrated systems.
- Familiarity with best practices in code quality assurance, performance optimization, and deployment processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
