Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous alignment of project goals with broader business objectives, fostering collaboration among team members, and driving the delivery of scalable and efficient software solutions. The lead also dedicates time to reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and facilitating communication across various stakeholders to maintain project momentum and quality.

Role: Databricks Data Engineer responsible for building and publishing data mesh data products and AI use case datasets using Databricks and IBDF tools within a client platforms technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to meet delivery commitments effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows.
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of database systems, both relational and non-relational, and data modeling techniques.
- Ability to optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with data governance, security practices, and compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
