Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The lead ensures that development practices meet high standards for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of technical solutions are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of custom software solutions.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any technical challenges or risks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language), Investment Banking.
- Must have Python and Pyspark programming experience for the last 2-3 years on a continuous basis.
- Must have prior experience of working with programming languages such as java or c#.
- Should have experience working on Unix platform such as file operation, permissions, environment, data analysis.
- Should have hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL/data solutions using Python (data cleansing, ingestion, loading & reporting).
- Should have experience with Shell scripting & Autosys and Oracle database.
- Should have experience of taking business requirements and turning them into implementable smaller steps.
- Should have experience on CICD with gitlab.
- Should have good understanding of SDLC in an agile operating model.
- Should have good knowledge of Azure platform, ADLS, AKV, Databricks.
- Good to have experience on AI e.g. github co-pilot, working and creating new agents for automation.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
