As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies, ensuring the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Your role is dynamic, requiring adaptability and continuous enhancement of software to support evolving organizational goals and user needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with 3–6 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. The candidate should have strong coding skills in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with hands-on exposure to deployment on cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Build and test RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Write and maintain unit and integration test cases.

Contribute to QA by performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting QA activities

Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for persistence and data modeling.

Package and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Deploy services on Azure or AWS cloud environments.

Focus on high availability (HA), scalability, and performance optimization.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document software designs, processes, and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Kubernetes.
- Strong experience in developing and deploying microservices using Spring Boot framework.
- Good understanding of container orchestration and management using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance in distributed environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
