Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements.
Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring modular, reusable, and secure configurations.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
Optimize build and release processes to reduce deployment time and improve system uptime.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, automation scripts, and operational procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Optimize build and release processes to reduce deployment time and improve system uptime.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation, scalability, and security across environments.
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ACM, SSM, and IAM.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Elastic Container Services (ECS)for orchestration and deployment of microservices.
- Engineers are expected to be able to execute upgrades independently.
- Cloud Architecture: Proficient knowledge on AWS advanced networking services including CloudFront, Transit Gateway Monitoring & Logging.
- Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, OpenSearch and Grafana monitoring tools.
- Security Best Practices: Understanding of AWS security features and compliance standards.
- API: RestAPI/OneAPI – Relevant experience mandatory
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for automated provisioning.
- Scripting Languages: Proficient in common languages (PowerShell, Python and Bash) for automation tasks.
- Familiar with tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Certified Cloud Practitioner + Certified Soln Architect MANDATORY

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, and CI/CD tools (especially Harness)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Solid understanding of automation, configuration management, and version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to automate processes and improve system reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
