Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project needs, ensuring that software solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient software applications that support business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Testing Strategy & Governance:
Define, own, and continuously improve the enterprise SAP testing strategy, including test methodology, tools, and governance frameworks. Establish testing standards, best practices, and quality gates across all SAP projects and workstreams

Test Planning & Execution
Lead end-to-end test cycles: Unit Testing, Product Test Cycle (PTC), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing
Develop and maintain master test plans, test scripts, and traceability matrices aligned to business requirements
Coordinate and manage test environments, data provisioning, and defect triage processes
Oversee test execution across SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, EWM, SD)


Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary QA point of contact for project managers, business owners, and SAP solution architects
Communicate test progress, risk, defect status, and quality metrics to senior leadership
Facilitate UAT sign-off and go/no-go readiness assessments with business stakeholders

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Management.
- Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect tracking methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential risks and issues.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle and quality assurance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing test processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Test Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
