Lead and manage the service department covering Nilfisk's aftermarket services across Hungary and Romania, responsible for efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Typical responsibilities:

• Manage field service engineers/technicians and service delivery teams in both Hungary and Romania
• Own service P&L — budgets, cost control, revenue from service contracts
• Ensure SLA and KPI targets are met (response times, first-time-fix rate, customer satisfaction)
• Build and maintain the local service network (technicians, subcontractors, spare parts logistics)
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety/quality standards in each country
• Act as liaison between local operations and regional/global headquarters
• Recruit, train, and develop the service team
• Support sales with technical expertise on service contracts and renewals
• Monitor market and competitor trends in service delivery

Requirements:

• Min 10+ years of experience in service/technical management, often with people-management experience
• Experience managing multi-country or multi-site operations
• Fluency in English and Hungarian and Romanian is plus
• Willingness to travel between the two countries
• Background often industry-specific (e.g., medical/lab equipment, industrial machinery, IT hardware)
