Role Overview:
The Corporate Security Coordinator supports the delivery of security operations across F1 sites, based at our new London Headquarters, helping to ensure effective coordination of security activities, compliance requirements, incident management processes, and stakeholder engagement. The role provides operational and administrative support to the Corporate Security Manager, helping maintain a safe, secure, and resilient workplace for employees, visitors, contractors, and business operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Security Operations
- Support the day-to-day delivery of physical security operations across the site.
- Coordinate access control processes including screening, visitor management requirements, and contractor access arrangements.
- Support security arrangements for meetings, executive visits, VIP guests and corporate events.
- Monitor security service delivery and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Assist with maintaining site security procedures, instructions, and operational documentation.
- Support routine security inspections, audits, and workplace security checks.
- Maintain accurate security records and documentation.
Security Team Coordination
- Support the coordination of contracted security providers and site security personnel, including day-to-day liaison, deployment arrangements, service updates, and escalation of any resourcing or performance issues.
- Coordinate routine operational meetings, actions, and follow-ups with security vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of training, briefings, and awareness activity for security personnel.
- Promote a positive security culture focused on service, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Risk Management
- Support the identification and recording of physical security risks relating to people, information, assets, and reputation.
- Conduct security risk assessments for new projects, workplace changes, events and business activities.
- Coordinate agreed risk mitigation actions, ensuring updates, evidence, and follow-up activity are accurately tracked.
- Escalate emerging risks, vulnerabilities, or security concerns to the Corporate Security Manager where appropriate.
- Support the monitoring of intelligence reports, threat information, and local security developments, escalating relevant information and recommended actions.
- Support asset protection processes including loss reporting, asset audits, investigations, and disposal reviews.
Incident Management
- Receive, log, and monitor security incidents, ensuring appropriate escalation in line with agreed procedures.
- Support incident investigations through evidence gathering and liaison with relevant stakeholders.
- Produce incident trend analysis to support decision-making and risk management.
- Track corrective actions arising from incidents and follow up with owners to support timely completion.
Emergency Preparedness & Resilience
- Support the maintenance of emergency response and business continuity documentation.
- Assist in organising evacuation exercises, emergency drills, and resilience testing activities that interface to other F1 locations.
- Support the operation of emergency notification and mass communication systems.
- Record outcomes, actions, and lessons identified from exercises, incidents, or resilience testing and track follow-up activity where required.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Facilities, Workplace Services, HR, Legal, Compliance, IT, Health & Safety teams and wider business stakeholders to create a safe, security focused culture.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, intelligence-sharing groups, local businesses, and industry partners.
Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance monitoring and reporting against corporate security policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
- Support compliance activities associated with the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyns Law).
- Support security-related audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Contribute to security governance reporting and key performance indicators.
Security Technology
- Support and optimise security technologies including:
- Access control and CCTV systems
- Visitor management systems
- Mass communication and emergency notification platforms
- Support security technology projects, upgrades, and new implementations.

Qualifications
Not essential but you may have the following:
- Security Institute Membership
- Security/Risk Management qualification
- Counter Terrorism Awareness or Protective Security training
Experience and Skills
Prior to the role it would be essential that you:
- Experience in corporate security, protective security, or a similar role.
- Experienced with access control, CCTV and life safety equipment.
- Experience working in security operations within a corporate headquarters, critical infrastructure, or complex commercial environment.
- Experience engaging with third-party security providers and contracts.
- Incident management and investigation experience.
- Experience conducting security risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
