What You Will Do:
- Draft, review, negotiate, amend and facilitate execution of a broad range of natural gas, crude oil and NGL agreements, including NAESB, transportation, storage, confidentiality, assignment and novation, capacity release, asset management, exchange, master, netting, lease, interconnection, gathering and other commodity-related agreements.
- Lead the negotiation of standard and non-standard agreements supporting Tomorrow RNG, Tidal Energy Marketing (U.S.), U.S. crude oil lease activities and legacy Natural Gas Agreements for U.S. regulated gas utilities.
- Interpret contractual terms and recommend appropriate changes to address Commercial, Legal, Risk and business requirements while ensuring agreements comply with applicable corporate, credit, risk and contracts policies.
- Partner with Commercial teams to understand transaction structures and ensure agreements accurately capture the commercial intent, while collaborating with Legal, Credit, Tax, Insurance and Accounting on contractual terms and requirements.
- Support commodity-related trade compliance research, regulatory reporting and applicable natural gas pipeline regulatory requirements, including FERC-related matters.
- Maintain effective contract administration and document management practices, including contractual databases and negotiation priorities, while supporting SOX controls, confirmations and timely execution of agreements.
- Identify and implement process and system improvements, contribute to the development and maintenance of contract templates, and support contract-related projects and other business initiatives as required.
Who You Are:
- Related university Degree in Business, Commerce, Regulatory, Legal, Paralegal studies or a related discipline.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of oil and gas contracting practices, commodity agreements and contract administration.
- Strong contract drafting, interpretation and negotiation skills, with the ability to work through complex commercial arrangements and contractual terms.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build productive relationships and collaborate effectively across multiple functional groups.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and have experience working with systems used to manage transaction and contractual information.
- Collaborative, positive and proactive self-starter who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Salary:
- Ranges from $115,000 – $140,000 USD for USA locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
- Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
