As a Contract Manager, you will focus on managing and optimizing the operational aspects of a legal team within our Internal Firm Services practice. Your role will involve streamlining processes, implementing technology solutions, and developing strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee vendor relationships, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve overall legal department performance.
As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will also address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Managing and optimizing the operational aspects of the legal team to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Streamlining processes and implementing technology solutions to support legal operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance and support
- Overseeing vendor relationships and leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making
- Developing strategies to improve overall legal department performance
- Motivating and inspiring team members to deliver quality work and meet client expectations
- Coaching and mentoring team members to leverage their unique strengths
- Analyzing and identifying linkages and interactions within complex systems
- Taking ownership of projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Encouraging skill development outside comfort zones and fostering innovation
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including compliance with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a graduate or post graduate degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
