About the Role

The Consumer Insights team is YETI’s hub for understanding consumer attitudes, behaviors, motivations, and emerging needs. We bring together qualitative and quantitative research, market intelligence, and behavioral analysis to guide decisions across Brand, Marketing, Product, and Commercial functions. Our mission is to ensure YETI operates with a deep, accurate, and actionable understanding of the consumer.

The Consumer Insights Analyst is an individual contributor who supports work across three key areas of customer and consumer understanding—market intelligence, customer analytics, and consumer research. You will work closely with senior analysts and researchers to identify, translate, and package insights across multiple datasets to guide strategy and decision-making across Brand, Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams.

What You'll Do
Analysis & Insights Generation

• Pull, organize, and quality‑check data from a range of sources (survey exports, transaction and profile data, syndicated market data, review text)
• Run exploratory analyses, pulling forward meaningful trends and finding the “so what” behind the data
• Build clean charts, tables, and visuals that are accurate, well‑labeled, and easy to reuse
• Maintain and refresh repeatable insights assets—for example, recurring reports, standardized views, and KPI‑ready tables

Research & Survey Execution

• Assist with survey QA, launch, and monitoring in Qualtrics
• Manage audience lists, customer panel files, sampling, and fieldwork logistics
• Review incoming data for quality issues and maintain ongoing reporting
• Support the execution and continuous improvement of YETI's core research and customer feedback programs

Insight Packaging & Storytelling

• Turn analyses into clear, digestible summaries, slides, and one‑pagers tailored to the audience—balancing precision with practicality
• Seek out and leverage business context to make insights more relatable and actionable for stakeholders
• Support senior teammates in building cohesive narratives for leadership readouts by preparing the supporting evidence and visuals

Data Tools & Teams

• Use Excel/Sheets, SQL or comparable query tools, along with AI‑enabled capabilities, in line with established standards, governance, and data‑integrity requirements
• Validate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and apply definitions and metrics consistently; act as a human‑in‑the‑loop when reviewing AI‑supported outputs
• Partner with YETI’s Data Warehouse team to define requirements and validate data architecture related to our Insights program and its deliverables
• Keep documentation, templates, and files organized so work is repeatable and easy for others

What You Bring

• Greater than 2 years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, market research, and/or consumer research—through prior roles, internships, or relevant coursework in analytics, market research, statistics, economics, marketing, or a similar field
• Proficiency with common analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL and/or data querying, Excel/Sheets, Tableau/Power BI or similar)
• Familiarity with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, and exposure to research or syndicated data sources is a plus
• Experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to extend, review, or accelerate work, or clear enthusiasm to learn
• Eagerness to use data to solve problems and a desire to work across qualitative and quantitative methodologies
• Ability to work with general direction while independently managing tasks and priorities
• Comfortable moving across different types of work and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment
