JOB SUMMARY
UHY Consulting is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing team in Atlanta. This role will lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries, with a focus on shared services, close optimization, and core accounting processes.The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, deep finance expertise, and a passion for improving how finance organizations operate.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance transformation engagements from strategy through execution
- Assess current-state finance and accounting operations and identify improvement opportunities
- Design and implement shared services models and operating structures
- Drive month-end close optimization initiatives, including process redesign and automation
- Improve core accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
- Partner with client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders) to align transformation initiatives with business goals
- Manage project teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes
- Support business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5–10+ years (Manager) or 10–15+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience
- Prior consulting experience strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in:
- Finance and Accounting Operations
- Shared services design and implementation
- Month-end close and record-to-report processes
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
