We’re looking for a Concept Artist  to join our award winning team conveniently located in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. 

As a Concept Artist at Double Eleven where you’ll develop initial concepts ideas as well as finished production illustrations. Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Art Lead and Senior team to help to create a broad range of work from environments / characters / to marketing content.

What you’ll be doing

• Creating high quality concept art for characters, environments, and objects to various levels of finish and within deadlines. 
• Reskinning existing assets within project needs and requirements. 
• Ensure all concepts are designed with technical feasibility in mind ( Example: Considering animations , player view, gameplay, etc )
• Communicate with the Tech Artist, Designers and QA team to solve problems where Art and Design meet.
• Create high quality production illustrations for marketing material
• Work with the Art Lead & seniors to create high quality consistent visuals that aligns with the established Art direction. 
• Iterate on ideas using quick sketches and thumbnails.

What we’re looking for

• Strong art fundamentals  such as lighting, color theory and proportion .
• Proficient in Photoshop.
• Comfortable with creating and conveying realistic artworks and materials.
• Versatility to work on everything from environments through to characters, and possess knowledge of multiple art styles and techniques
• Deep understanding of the full creative pipeline. From initial thumbnailing through iterative sketches and final render. 
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Creativity, motivation, enthusiasm, adaptability and having self-motivation to grow.
• Good time-management skills and ability to work within deadlines
• Able to take constructive criticism and apply feedback accordingly. 
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Must be trustworthy and operate at a high level of integrity, team spirit and drive

Considered a bonus

• A passion for games art and games development
• Experience with agile production workflow.
• Familiar with survival games or shooters  set in post-apocalyptic environments
• Knowledge in other 3D softwares, like Blender or Zbrush. 
• Have experience with Live Services projects.
