Due to our growth ambitions, we are looking for a talented Compliance Lawyer in Poland. You will join Inbank’s international Compliance Team, working with colleagues across five countries in a fast-growing financial services company. You'll help ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, covering areas such as consumer finance, data protection, and AML. As a trusted advisor, you'll support teams in understanding regulations, engaging with supervisory authorities, and finding practical ways to balance innovation with effective risk management.

What will you be doing?

• Build and maintain strong relationships with supervisory authorities, acting as a trusted point of contact on regulatory matters.
• Keep our internal policies and procedures accurate, up to date, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments, translating complex requirements into practical guidance and helping the organisation understand their potential impact.
• Monitor compliance across our operations, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement before they become issues.
• Partner with colleagues across the business and contribute to local and group-wide projects, providing expert regulatory advice and support.
• Help shape the future of compliance at Inbank by improving processes, systems, and ways of working, turning ideas into meaningful enhancements.
• Work closely with stakeholders across different teams, fostering a culture of compliance that enables innovation and business growth.

To be successful in the role, you ideally have the following:

• A degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Excellent written and spoken Polish and English, with confidence in both day-to-day communication and drafting legal documentation.
• Solid knowledge of Polish and EU banking and financial services regulations.
• Previous experience in a compliance role within the financial sector.
• Hands-on experience interacting with regulatory authorities, such as KNF, UOKiK, and UODO.
• The ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, pragmatic solutions that support business objectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions.
• A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
