Job Summary:
Oversees commissioning operations within a business unit, managing personnel, processes, and project-level execution to ensure systems meet design and operational performance objectives. Develops and implements commissioning strategies that align with DPR’s standards, client requirements, and project delivery goals. Provides leadership, direction, and technical guidance to commissioning teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across projects. Collaborates closely with project, quality, and MEP leadership to support commissioning planning, risk management, and system turnover.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversees execution of commissioning programs within the business unit, ensuring alignment with company standards and project delivery expectations.
Manages commissioning personnel, including assigning work, providing performance feedback, supporting professional development and making talent decisions.
Develops project-specific commissioning plans and ensures consistent application of commissioning processes, tools and standards across assigned projects.
Reviews and approves test documentation, commissioning reports and system turnover packages for completeness, accuracy and compliance with design and operational criteria.
Coordinates with project executives, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) leads, quality teams and clients to address commissioning risks, schedule impacts and integrated system testing requirements and maintains client relationships to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Analyzes commissioning performance data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and implements best practices across the business unit.
Supports pursuit and preconstruction activities by defining commissioning scope, estimating resources and contributing to proposal documentation.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
7–9 years of experience in commissioning, MEP coordination, building systems design, or a related field required.
1–2 years of experience managing or supervising commissioning or MEP coordination staff required.

Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), Accredited Commissioning Process Authority (CxA), or LEED Accredited Professional preferred.
