Your Role at Cabot

Act as a support to the Sales Managers and become the first contact point when customer issues are escalated beyond customer care team. Be the prime commercial contact for transactional accounts which do not require regular face to face contact with a Sales Manager. 

How You Will Make an Impact

• Administer pricing, rebate, and commission approvals, maintaining records of historical prices and negotiated terms.
• Initiate account set-up in CRM systems, ensuring accurate details across departments and monitoring payment terms and credit limits.
• Facilitate the distributor evaluation process, maintaining records of contracts and coordinating renewal negotiations.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for customer enquiries, redirecting them appropriately and ensuring prompt responses to maximize business opportunities.
• Conduct market research via customer interactions and data analysis to assess sales potential and market trends.
• Organize and maintain customer information, documentation, and promotional literature, ensuring smooth customer order processes.
• Manage product specification databases, update data sheets, and facilitate SHE approvals and quality requirements.
• Assist in minimizing overdue payments, prepare monthly sales reports, and manage sales forecasts and opportunities.
• Support Technical Sales Managers, address customer complaints, and attend customer events and trade fairs, as necessary.
• Attend Customer events, trade fairs, sales meetings as deemed appropriate.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

• Higher education (might be last year’s student) or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills - ability to balance multiple priorities and to
• work urgently toward achieving desired results.
• Keen to learn about new products and applications.
• Autonomous and resourceful self-motivated requiring minimal supervision.
• Customer focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate, good knowledge of Excel is necessary.
• Fluent English.

Additional Details:

• Salary: 1650 - 2250 EUR Gross depending on experience.
• Temporary 1.5 year contract with possibility of extension.
• Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30.
• Health insurance from first day of work.

• Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
