About this role

The Ireland Country Analytics team sits at the intersection of analytics, commercial strategy, and operational execution. As Commercial Strategy & Insights Lead, you are the operational backbone who translates analytical insights into concrete business decisions that drive real commercial impact.

You'll shape how analytical work is prioritised, maintain delivery standards, and ensure every insight lands as action, not a slide deck. Working closely with Analytics Engineers and Commercial Analysts, you'll build trusted relationships across Trading, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, embodying our values of lead, deliver, and care through collaborative, customer-centric data strategy that helps one another succeed.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Dublin office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Head of Strategic Planning & Analytics

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Own day-to-day analytics operations including delivery rhythm, prioritisation frameworks, and cross-pillar coordination, deputising for the Head in stakeholder forums and leadership meetings.
• Drive commercial impact by translating business objectives into prioritised analytical work, connecting outputs to trackable outcomes in partner growth, revenue uplift, and market share.
• Build and maintain trusted peer-level relationships with senior commercial leads, acting as the analytics team's credible voice in cross-functional forums and strategic programmes.
• Set and maintain quality standards for AI-augmented analytical outputs, driving adoption of LLM tools while ensuring accuracy, logical consistency, and commercial relevance.
• Design and lead data literacy programmes across the Irish business, evolving self-serve analytics capabilities that empower teams to engage with data as core to decision-making.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to define data product requirements and support commercial experiments with analytical rigour, ensuring insights drive measurable action.

What will you bring to the team?

• Proven track record in analytics, data strategy, or commercial insights, connecting data to commercial decisions and driving measurable business outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with BigQuery (GCP), confidently writing complex analytical queries and quality-checking datasets at scale.
• Expertise in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker) and fluency with AI productivity tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), integrating them responsibly into analytical workflows.
• Commercial acumen and storytelling ability, distilling complex datasets into compelling narratives that motivate decisions across senior stakeholder audiences.
• Executive presence with structured thinking, bringing clarity to ambiguous situations and comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
• Ownership mindset and pragmatism, following through to ensure insights land and make a difference while defaulting to simple, high-impact solutions.
• Python proficiency (desirable) for analytical scripting and automation
