WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Relationship Manager.  This Relationship Manager (RM) will manage CRE banking relationships for companies with annual sales greater than $2.5 million and total business credit of greater than $1 million. The RM has overall responsibility for retaining and expanding existing commercial relationships, as well as developing new, and may involve the sale and servicing of credit and non-credit products.  This role meets the needs of customers seeking loans or lines of credit on terms that involve significant amounts of unsecured funds and/or credit secured by mortgages and other business collateral. This position serves as the "gatekeeper" for other Bank products and services and will interview customers and prospects to understand information concerning their business needs, financial condition, and performance to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk as defined by the Bank's credit policy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new relationships with prospective clients, as well as retain existing business, and promote additional bank services to current clients. The position relies on self-generated referral sources (I.e., CPAs, attorneys, business brokers) to develop new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to deliver non-credit products, including Cash Management, Capital Markets (Interest Rate Derivatives, FX and Trade Finance) and Wealth products and services. 
• Partner with credit associates such as Portfolio Managers and Credit Officers in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans.
• In collaboration with a dedicated Portfolio Manager, the incumbent will track existing loan portfolio to ensure complete conformity with terms and covenants, monitor and identify developing trends or early warning signs of problem credits, perform timely risk assessment based upon this information, update loan systems and customer credit files with assessments, and perform annual reviews.
• Frequently interact with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Administrators, Credit Administrator(s), Credit Officers, Senior Loan Committee and Executive & Risk Committee, as well as fellow Commercial Division associates. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum 5 years of relationship management experience is required. Experience in Commercial Banking is preferred.
• Must possess demonstrated experience in business development, prospecting, and managing commercial client relationships and portfolios, with an established network of centers of influence.
• Must be well versed in delivering credit solutions to solve for client’s’ objectives regarding growth, timing differences and ownership transition.
• Must have the ability to thoroughly interpret financial data and use sound business judgement with knowledge of commercial loan structuring and risk assessments.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present important and complex information in a concise and understandable style.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with credit, operations, treasury management, wealth management and other internal partners.

Salary Range:

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
