The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible to Partner with Commercial Leadership Team to drive business performance by leading commercial planning, forecasting, demand alignment, and business review processes, ensuring forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and successful execution of annual operating plans.

• Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to optimize the end-to-end order-to-cash process, improving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business predictability.
• Lead distributor and channel performance management through robust governance, business reviews, performance monitoring, and data-driven insights that support sustainable growth and execution excellence.
• Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives leveraging Danaher Business System (DBS) principles to simplify processes, standardize ways of working, increase automation, and drive operational excellence across the commercial organization.

This position reports to the General Manager, India & South Asia and is part of the India Commercial Organization of Leica Biosystems located in Bangalore, India and will be an on-site role.

The essential requirements of the job include

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations,
• Experience within Medical Devices, Diagnostics, or related industries preferred.
• Proven experience in forecasting, sales planning, business intelligence, KPI management, and commercial reporting. Experience working with distribution-led businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Strong proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
• Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and business modeling skills.
