As Commercial Finance Manager, you'll partner with senior leaders, uncover performance drivers, identify growth opportunities, and help shape the strategic direction of the business through insight-led decision-making.

What You'll Bring:

Required

• Significant experience in commercial finance, financial planning, business partnering, or enterprise performance management.
• Advanced financial modelling expertise, including scenario analysis, forecasting, business case development, and sensitivity modelling.
• Strong experience translating complex financial and operational data into clear business insights.
• Deep understanding of profitability, revenue, pricing, utilization, and margin drivers.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial reporting or planning tools.
• Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  

Preferred

• Experience within professional services, consulting, engineering, or other project-based organizations.
• Exposure to finance transformation, business process improvement, or analytics modernization initiatives.
• Experience developing KPI frameworks and enterprise-wide performance reporting.
• Demonstrated success partnering with executive and senior leadership teams.
  

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Performance & Analytics

• Analyze business performance across regions, service lines, sectors, clients, and projects.
• Identify key drivers of revenue, profitability, pricing, utilization, and backlog performance.
• Deliver performance reviews and strategic recommendations that support commercial growth.

Financial Modelling & Decision Support

• Develop robust financial models to evaluate strategic opportunities and investments.
• Build driver-based models covering revenue, pricing, margin, and productivity performance.
• Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments to support decision-making.

Enterprise Performance Management

• Support enterprise-wide KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
• Partner with business leaders to understand performance variances and identify improvement opportunities.

Data Discovery & Insight Generation

• Validate and reconcile data from multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights, presentations, and decision-support materials.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive improvements in reporting, analytics, and business processes.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, automation efforts, and best-practice adoption.
