What You’ll Be Doing

Own the Australian Commercial Strategy
-
Develop and execute the commercial strategy and roadmap for Australia, with clear accountability for market share, active customers, trading volume, revenue and brand recognition.

Identify the highest-impact growth opportunities across customer segments, products, channels and partnerships. Provide strong local market and customer insights.

Establish clear commercial priorities, KPIs and operating rhythms, continuously reviewing performance and reallocating resources toward the highest-impact opportunities.

Build the Growth Engine

Develop and execute strategies to accelerate customer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and trading activity.

Identify opportunities to strengthen OKX's positioning and competitive differences in Australia.

Build scalable commercial models and growth channels rather than relying solely on short-term campaigns or individual relationships.

Work closely with Marketing, Product and Growth teams to improve customer journeys, propositions and conversion across the funnel.

Lead Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

Own the commercial GTM strategy for major products, services and market initiatives in Australia.

Develop compelling local value propositions and determine the right customer segments, channels, partnerships and activation strategies.

Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Compliance, Operations and Customer Support to translate GTM strategies into executable plans.

Develop Strategic Partnerships & Distribution

Identify, evaluate and structure strategic partnerships that can materially accelerate OKX's growth and market presence in Australia.

Explore new distribution channels and ecosystem opportunities that extend OKX's reach beyond traditional crypto acquisition channels.

Navigate a Global and Regulated Environment

Partner closely with Compliance, Legal and Risk teams to ensure commercial strategies and market initiatives are developed within applicable regulatory requirements.

What We Look For In You
-
10+ years of experience across commercial strategy, business development, growth, partnerships or related roles, with meaningful leadership responsibility.

Strong track record of building or materially scaling a business, market or commercial function, ideally within crypto, fintech, trading, brokerage, financial services or another highly competitive digital and regulated business.
-
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable commercial outcomes including market share, active customers, trading volume, revenue and brand recognition.
-
Strong understanding of the Australian market, with the ability to identify local customer behaviours, competitive dynamics and growth opportunities.
-
Strong commercial judgement with the ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution.

Proven experience developing GTM strategies and translating them into successful market execution.

Demonstrated ability to originate, structure and negotiate strategic partnerships and commercial arrangements.
-
Strong analytical capabilities and comfort using data to diagnose performance, prioritise opportunities and make commercial decisions.

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global matrix organisation.

Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve quickly and leaders are expected to build rather than simply manage.

Genuine interest in blockchain technology, digital assets and the evolution of financial markets.
Nice-To-Haves

Experience at a crypto exchange or platform. Strong understanding of crypto trading products, customer segments and market structure.

Experience in trading, brokerage, derivatives, fintech or other transaction-driven businesses where commercial success is measured through customer trading activity and AUM.

Existing relationships across Australia's crypto, fintech, institutional, payments or broader financial-services ecosystem.

Experience working across global and cross-cultural teams, particularly within an international technology or financial-services organisation.

Familiarity with Australia's regulatory environment for digital assets and financial services.

Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
