What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to understand their comfort needs, concerns, and goals
- Evaluate existing HVAC systems and identify opportunities for replacement, upgrades, and improved comfort
- Present customized heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions
- Clearly explain equipment options, benefits, pricing, and financing solutions
- Build trust and strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process
- Confidently present recommendations and ask for the sale
- Follow up with customers as needed to move opportunities toward completion
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM
- Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals
- Work closely with installation, service, and office teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company with integrity
- Stay current on HVAC products, financing options, sales techniques, and company processes
What We’re Looking For
Must Have:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Ability to present solutions clearly and confidently ask for the sale
- Experience conducting in-home customer appointments
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Basic proficiency with CRM systems and mobile technology
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed
- Comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment
Preferred – A Plus, But Not Required:
- Previous HVAC Comfort Advisor or residential HVAC sales experience
- Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems
- Experience presenting financing options and monthly payment solutions
- Experience with both lead-generated and self-generated sales
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field service software
- Experience selling maintenance memberships or service agreements
- Previous experience in roofing, windows, solar, bath remodeling, or other home improvement sales
- HVAC technician experience with an interest in transitioning into sales
