CNC Lathe & Mill Machinist
1st Shift | Monday–Friday
Pay: Up to $33.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 56 hours/week
Temp-to-Hire: Potential opportunity after 90 days
Position Overview
Qualdoc is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision industrial components using CNC lathes and mills. This position requires strong machining skills, the ability to work from technical drawings, and experience with CNC programming and setup.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills according to machining requirements.
Read and interpret shop drawings and technical documentation.
Produce precision parts while maintaining tolerances as tight as 0.0005".
Create and modify programs using G-code.
Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls; experience with every control is not required.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Verify dimensions and maintain consistent part quality.
Follow safe work practices in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Maintain reliable attendance and a professional approach to work.
Safely handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Work the required schedule, including Saturdays when scheduled.
Qualifications
Previous CNC machining, programming, and machine operation experience.
Experience with CNC lathes and mills.
Ability to read and understand technical/machining drawings.
Knowledge of G-code programming.
Strong attention to detail and precision machining.
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
Commitment to maintaining quality and production standards.
