So, what's the role all about?

As a Full Stack Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, reliability, availability, and performance of NICE's cloud and datacenter infrastructure. Working across Windows, Linux, AWS, VMware, and physical compute environments, you will support business-critical production systems that power our global operations.You will proactively monitor infrastructure, resolve incidents, optimize system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes. This role offers the opportunity to work across modern cloud technologies and enterprise-scale infrastructure while helping maintain a secure and highly available environment.How will you make an impact?

• Maintaining, monitoring, and supporting enterprise production infrastructure environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance. 
• Administering AWS cloud resources and services, ensuring security, scalability, and operational excellence. 
• Supporting multiple infrastructure platforms and applications of medium to high complexity across cloud and datacenter environments. 
• Monitoring systems, troubleshooting incidents, and resolving operational issues in accordance with defined processes and SLAs. 
• Analyzing operational metrics and enhancing infrastructure performance through continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Managing core infrastructure services including DNS, FTP, IIS, application environments, Active Directory, and identity management solutions.
• Participating in on-call rotations and communicating critical events effectively to stakeholders, operational teams, and leadership. 
• Supporting physical datacenter operations including hardware installation, cabling, racking, maintenance activities, and infrastructure upgrades. 
• Managing user accounts and permissions through AWS IAM and other identity management platforms.
• Implementing server updates, capacity planning activities, operating system patching, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.

Have you got what it takes?

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting large-scale production infrastructure environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on Windows Server administration experience in enterprise production environments.
• 3+ years of experience configuring and supporting server hardware and operating systems. 
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and timelines. 
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Domains, DNS, and enterprise infrastructure services. 
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating system patching and maintenance.
• Intermediate Linux administration skills and practical operational experience. 
• Experience following change management processes and operational governance standards.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working within PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials, or other regulated compliance environments.
• Experience with AWS EKS and ECS container platforms. 
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience managing SAN and NAS storage environments. 
• Experience with Okta identity and access management solutions.
• Experience supporting hardware lifecycle management and vendor coordination activities. 
• Experience managing Cisco UCS environments. 
• Strong AWS monitoring and infrastructure management experience. 
• Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages for automation and operational efficiency.
