ABOUT US

Our mission at Avelios is to unlock clinical data to power seamless healthcare operations for better patient care. To do so, we have built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals with cutting-edge technology in a user-friendly way. With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care.
We are growing fast and want to keep expanding our team and business to fundamentally digitize healthcare for the better. We appreciate different backgrounds and see diversity as one of our strengths.

THE TEAM AND ROLE

As a Clinical Change Manager (all genders), you will play a key role in supporting hospitals during the introduction of our Avelios software solution.
This role is especially suited for nurses, physicians, or other clinically trained professionals who know hospital workflows from hands-on experience and want to drive digital transformation in healthcare. You will work closely with nursing teams, physicians, and hospital stakeholders on-site, helping them adopt new digital workflows during trainings, go-lives, and hypercare phases.
This is a highly operational and people-centered position with frequent on-site presence in hospitals. You will act as a central interface between clinical end users — especially nurses and physicians — and our internal implementation, product, and engineering teams. Your success will be measured by smooth transitions, high user acceptance, and stable operations after go-live.
This role includes frequent travel to customer sites.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support hospitals during the rollout of Avelios, with a strong focus on clinical adoption by nursing and medical teams

  • Coordinate end-user trainings and hypercare phases together with internal teams and external partners

  • Conduct on-site and remote trainings for clinical users before go-live, tailored to the workflows of nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Act as the main point of contact for clinical users during go-live and stabilization phases in hospitals

  • Translate the needs, questions, and concerns of nurses, physicians, and other hospital stakeholders into actionable insights for our internal teams

  • Manage change in the clinical environment by building trust, fostering acceptance, and addressing concerns proactively

  • Collect, analyze, and document user feedback, issues, and improvement opportunities from real hospital workflows

  • Communicate and prioritize insights for internal teams to continuously improve our software and rollout processes

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Several years of hands-on experience in a hospital setting, ideally as a nurse, physician, or other clinically trained professional, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows across wards, outpatient departments, emergency care, operating rooms, or similar environments

  • Solid knowledge of nursing and medical documentation, medication workflows, and interdisciplinary collaboration between nursing staff, physicians, and other clinical teams

  • Strong empathy for the needs, challenges, and communication styles of clinical users, combined with excellent communication skills and confidence in working with diverse hospital stakeholders

  • Practical experience with clinical IT systems, digital documentation, implementation projects, or user support is a strong plus

  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with experience in documentation or ticketing systems, high ownership, resilience, and a hands-on mentality

  • Fluent German and good working proficiency in English

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Variety in your tasks and the opportunity to take ownership

  • An international, informal team structure in a motivating start-up atmosphere, allowing you to participate directly in our customer growth story and the overall success of Avelios

  • Ability to gain valuable hands-on experience in a startup backed by leading international VCs

  • Support for your personal development through continuous learning and feedback

  • Set your own rhythm with flexible working hours and trust-based time tracking

  • A virtual stock option package (VSOP) that lets you participate in Avelios’ long-term value creation

  • A monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, full coverage of the Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or a subsidized Wellpass membership, a bike leasing program and Corporate Benefits that give you access to discounts from a wide range of providers in various areas
