The team partners across GBU, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Finance, Responsible Sourcing, CREWS, and customer-facing organizations to provide the data, insights, and tools needed to support HP's sustainability ambitions and reporting obligations.

The Climate Team Operations Specialist provides operational, analytical, and project management support across the Climate Team's climate-data, LCA, decarbonization, disclosure, customer engagement, and Climate risk-management activities. The role combines strong organizational and communication skills with data-analysis capabilities to improve team effectiveness, support decision making, and enable scalable climate-data operations.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure across a broad spectrum of climate work—from LCA and climate data products to reporting and disclosures—while building deep skills in delivery leadership and sustainability transformation. If you are passionate about applying technology and strong program execution to drive climate impact and operational excellence, this opportunity is for you.

This role is ideal for early-career sustainability, business analytics, supply chain, or operations professional looking to build expertise in climate data, disclosures, decarbonization, and environmental performance management while working in a highly visible, cross-functional team.

  • Support cross-functional initiatives and workstreams as a contributing project team member.

Governance, Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain documentation, operating procedures (SOPs), project records, governance materials, and audit-support evidence.
  • Support records-retention requirements, policy management activities, and knowledge-management repositories.
  • Assist with preparation of materials supporting disclosures, customer requests, risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure key methodologies, assumptions, decisions, and project outputs are appropriately documented and retained.

Research & Business Support

  • Conduct market assessments, competitive benchmarking, and research on climate solutions, decarbonization, sustainability reporting, and industry trends.
  • Support customer carbon-data inquiries by gathering information, coordinating responses, and tracking completion.

  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in sustainability, data analytics, business operations, project management, reporting, consulting, environmental programs, or a related field.
  • Experience working with data analysis, reporting tools, dashboards, KPIs, or business intelligence platforms preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects and stakeholder engagement activities preferred.
