Student Success Class Checkers
UVA Athletics Student Success seeks Student Success Class Checkers to support student-athletes in their academic success.
We are seeking dependable and attentive Class Checkers to monitor and record class attendance. The ideal candidate would follow a schedule of classes to check student-athlete attendance and provide a welcoming environment.
Daily Job Responsibilities:
- Arrive promptly to designated class location and stay for designated time
- Monitor and record class attendance of designated student-athletes
- Report accurate attendance information on database
- Comply with all NCAA and ACC rules and regulations
- Commit to following the UVA Honor Code
- Communicate professionally with all students and staff
Qualifications
- Current UVA student enrolled full time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain professional and attentive
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Ability to follow all UVA, ACC and NCAA guidelines
- Federal work study student encouraged to apply
- Position Compensation: $15 hourly
- Location: various UVA buildings/classrooms

Physical Demands
This job does involve traveling between spaces. All shifts will take place in person.
