Job Description:

About the Role:

Reports To: MLH  President/Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for the strategic oversight of human capital management and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Priorities for this Innovative Senior Executive Position:

• Partners with the CEO and executive team in ensuring the fulfillment of MLH ‘s mission, vision, and values through planning, goal setting, education, and performance development.
• Provides transformational vision and guidance to management on employee and patient engagement, human capital management, as well as innovative initiatives to recruit and retain top talent.
• Leads the implementation of the succession plan to ensure a highly competent workforce and provide opportunities for career development and advancement. 
• Ensures the development and provision of  contemporary, competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain a best-in-class workforce.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Related Field Required. Doctoral Degree Preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive Healthcare Human Resources Leadership experience required.
• SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resources Management-Senior Certified Professional) Certification required or to be obtained within one year of employment.
