Category Purchaser – Drive Strategic Sourcing in a Global Supply Chain

Your responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for your assigned categories and suppliers, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Lead annual price negotiations and keep pricing and item data accurate in ERP systems (Infor LN experience is a plus).
• Partner with supplier quality, logistics, and other teams to define and implement smart supply strategies.
• Drive long-term cost reduction initiatives and support CCC sourcing to improve competitiveness.
• Develop supplier relationships – focusing on delivery reliability, quality, innovation, and lead times – and monitor compliance with internal policies.
• Support sales and cost estimation by sharing sourcing insights, and oversee inventory levels to protect net working capital.

Expectations for you

• You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (engineering or commercial field preferred) and 2–5 years of procurement experience, especially about Castings & Forgings. 
• You possess strong analytical skills and can make swift, fact-based decisions.
• You are fluent in English and have solid MS Office skills; experience with ERP systems (Infor LN preferred) is a plus.
• You are committed, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure with tight deadlines.
